I pray for people who need work, food, a safe place to live, or help keeping the lights on. Please bring caring people and useful support into their lives. Help them find assistance without shame, and give strength to those who are working hard and still struggling.

Thank you for the people who share what they can. Help me receive kindness without feeling that I've failed. Show me how I can care for someone else too, even when all I have to offer is time or a listening ear.

Lord, money worries can take over my thoughts. Help me be patient with the people around me. Give us what we need for today, and stay close as we work through what comes next. Amen.
